  • Coolors – Color Palette Generator
  • Huemint – Color Palette Generator
  • Dopely Colors – an amazing website for color choices- includes a color palette generator, contrast checker, gradient generator, and a lot more. You can also browse a feed of individual colors and premade color palettes.

Images

  • Note: Although a lot of these resources are “free,” double-check the licensing information! Some sites restrict how their images can be used or require attributions.
  • Pixabay – free images & royalty free stock.
  • Unsplash – freely-usable images.
  • Pexels – free stock photos, royalty free images & videos
  • Icons8 – “free” icons (requires attributions/has paid plans for high-quality images).
  • Flickr: Creative Commons – images shared under a Creative Commons license (note: licenses vary across images).
  • The Noun Project – icons and images (offers 50% off icon plans for students and teachers, bringing the price to around $20 per year. Image plans are separate and don’t offer the same discount).
  • Foodiesfeed – high-quality images of food, shared under the Creative Commons Zero (CCO) license.
  • Compress JPEG – compresses JPEGs, PNGs, & GIFs (shrinks PDFs).

Other

  • ByPeople – “A curated network of … resources and lifetime deals for developers, designers and startups.” Their freebies section is worth checking out (don’t forget to found out about the original source’s license).
